This policy explains how Valuation Group Pty Ltd, trading as Green Standard (“Green Standard”, “we”) handles personal information. We aim to handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
Contact details you give us (name, email, phone, firm), information about your business entered in the valuation intake, and documents and information provided for an engagement, which may include financial records, payroll information and details of employees, customers and related parties. We also collect limited technical information about website visits, such as pages viewed and how you arrived at the site.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and confirm the scope and fee of an engagement.
- To carry out the valuation and prepare the report.
- To communicate with your accountant or adviser, where you have authorised it.
- To invoice and receive payment.
- To keep records of our work as professional practice requires.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share your information with buyers, brokers or other third parties without your authority, except where the law requires it.
Service providers
We use service providers for hosting, the client portal, document storage, email and payments. They handle information on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations, and only for the purpose of providing their services to us. Some providers may store data outside Australia.
Storage and security
Documents are uploaded through a secure portal with access limited to the people working on your engagement and the people you authorise. We keep engagement records for as long as professional and legal obligations require, then delete or de-identify them.
Website analytics
The website uses Google Analytics and the Google Ads tag, provided by Google, to understand how the site is used and to measure enquiries that come from our advertising. These tools use cookies and record events such as page views and starting the intake. They do not receive the contents of any form you submit. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or opt out at adssettings.google.com.
Access and correction
You can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing hello@greenstandard.com.au.

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, contact us first at hello@greenstandard.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
