A specialist valuation partner for your clients

Your clients already rely on you for tax, structuring and commercial advice. When they need an independent business valuation, Green Standard can handle the valuation while you remain at the centre of the relationship.

Your specialist independent valuation resource

For a firm with trade and field-service clients, valuations come up regularly: restructures, CGT events, shareholder changes, succession and sales. Partnering means each one follows the same process, at a known fee, without you having to source a valuer each time.

Partner pricing

Regular adviser-referred valuations from $1,495 + GST. The partner fee is what your client pays. It is not a commission.

Independent reports

Reports prepared independently and addressed to the appropriate client or purpose, with the reasoning written for an accountant to check.

Fast document workflow

Clients securely upload their documents directly, or you upload on their behalf with their authority.

Specialist trade knowledge

Industry-specific intake and valuation analysis for plumbing, electrical, construction, civil, landscaping and other trade businesses.

You stay informed

The referring adviser can remain involved throughout the engagement where authorised by the client, including reviewing the draft.

You stay at the centre. We do the valuation

  1. 01Refer the matterSend the client to the intake and name your firm, or tell us about the matter and we contact the client.
  2. 02Scope confirmedWe confirm the purpose, valuation date, interest being valued and fee with the client, and copy you where authorised.
  3. 03Information gatheredThe portal lists what we need. Much of it sits in your files already, so you can upload with the client’s authority.
  4. 04Draft to client and adviserThe draft goes to the client and, with authority, to you. Questions on the normalisations come to whoever knows the answer.
  5. 05Final reportIssued through the portal and available for the client file.

Independent of the outcome

The fee is fixed before the work starts and does not depend on the value concluded. The report states the purpose, the valuation date, the standard of value and the assumptions, and shows every normalisation adjustment so that you can test it against what you know of the client.

We do not provide tax, legal or financial advice to your client. Whether a valuation is needed for a tax purpose, and at what date, stays with you.

Become an adviser partner

Tell us about your firm and the clients you advise. We will confirm partner pricing, how you would like to refer matters and how you want to be kept informed.

From accountants

Is partner pricing a referral commission?

No. Partner pricing is a lower fee for your client: $1,495 + GST instead of $1,995 + GST for an Independent Business Valuation. Nothing about it depends on the value concluded.

Will you give my client tax advice?

No. We provide the valuation; you remain the client’s adviser on tax, structuring and whether a valuation is needed at all. If the valuation raises a question outside its scope, we refer it back to you.

Who is the report addressed to?

To the client, or to the parties and purpose set out in the engagement letter. If your firm needs to rely on the report for a particular purpose, tell us when the matter is scoped.

Can we see the draft before the client does?

The draft goes to the client, and to you at the same time where the client has authorised it. Many advisers review the normalisations with the client before comments come back to us.

What does a complex matter cost under the partner arrangement?

Complex matters are quoted as a fixed fee in writing, from $2,995 + GST, after we have reviewed the structure. You and the client see the quote before anything starts.

A client needs a valuation now?

They can start the intake today and name your firm as their adviser. We confirm the fee and scope in writing before any work begins.
